It was a beautiful day filled with love when Erika and Tim were married in Jasper Alberta surrounded by 90 of their closest friends and family.
Tim and Erika met on Lavalife. Tim sent the first message, and right away Erika thought that he sounded like the perfect guy. They eventually met in person and hit it off right away.
After two years of dating, they decided to move in together, and then (finally) after four and a half years Tim proposed on a trip to Vancouver Island. Tim took Erika by the hand and asked her to come for a walk with him on the beach at sunset. When they got closer to the water he began writing in the sand. It didn’t take Erika long to realize that he was writing the words “Will you marry me?” Tim got down on one knee and Erika remembers it as the most romantic and perfect proposal.
The couple’s favourite wedding moment was when they read their vows to each other. “It was such an intimate moment that how special it was to say those words to each other,” says Erika.
A few of the couple’s favourite wedding details included the pink roses petals, used to decorate Erika’s walk down the aisle, and the mason jars hanging from the ceremony seats, also filled with pink rose petals. “It looked completely magical,” says Erika.
